Fay Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 Vintage Overview

2020 OVERVIEW

Supple Napa cabernet from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars’ Fay Vineyard, the 2020 layers ripe cassis, blackcurrant and raspberry with hints of cocoa, mint and gentle vanilla spice. Medium to full in body, it feels broad yet poised, with polished tannins and fresh acidity giving a long, graceful finish touched by dark plum and subtle earth tones.

About Fay Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

FAY Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars’ flagship estate wines from the historic FAY Vineyard in Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District, the first Cabernet Sauvignon planting in that area and purchased by the winery in 1986. Typically crafted as (nearly) 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in 100% new French oak, it is known for its supple red and black berry fruit, floral perfume, and silky, fine-grained tannins that showcase the vineyard’s elegance in contrast to the more powerful S.L.V. bottling.
