Chateau Pontet-Canet 2017 Vintage Overview

2017 OVERVIEW

Chateau Pontet-Canet 2017 opens with a soaring, perfumed nose of blackcurrant, blackberry and plum layered with spice, cedar and a cool stony edge. On the palate it is medium-bodied yet intense, with silken but persistent tannins, vibrant acidity and a poised, mineral finish that showcases the vintage’s elegance and transparency more than sheer power. A refined, beautifully balanced Pauillac with real clarity of fruit and long aging potential.
