Chateau Pontet-Canet 2014 Vintage Overview

2014 OVERVIEW

Chateau Pontet-Canet 2014 marries deep, cassis-driven fruit and black plum with hints of spice and tobacco, wrapped in a finely etched frame of firm yet velvety tannins. There’s striking purity and freshness here, giving the generous dark fruit a lifted, almost luminous quality and driving a long, resonant finish that promises graceful evolution. A serious, structured Pauillac that still manages to feel seductive and supple on the palate.
