Chateau Pontet-Canet

Château Pontet-Canet is a historic Pauillac estate whose origins date to the early 18th century, when Jean-François de Pontet assembled vineyards north of the village and later added the Canet property. Classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Médoc classification, the château passed through the merchant Cruse family before being acquired in 1975 by Cognac producer Guy Tesseron.
