Chateau Beychevelle 2010 Vintage Overview

2010 OVERVIEW

Deep, Cabernet-driven dark fruit powers through Chateau Beychevelle 2010, layering blackcurrant, blackberry and plum with hints of cedar, tobacco and dried flowers, all wrapped in a sleek frame of fine but insistent tannins. The wine walks that classic St-Julien line between richness and poise, concentrated yet graceful, with a long, savory finish that shows why this vintage is so highly regarded at the estate.

About Chateau Beychevelle

Château Beychevelle is the estate’s grand vin, a Cabernet Sauvignon–led Saint-Julien 1855 Fourth Growth that uniquely incorporates an unusually high proportion of Merlot for the Left Bank, giving it a particularly silky texture and aromatic richness. Sourced from deep Garonne gravel terraces overlooking the Gironde estuary, it is classically aged in predominantly new French oak and is known for its poised balance of power and finesse, with black-fruit, spice and subtle cedar notes that evolve beautifully with a decade or more in bottle.
