Cool-toned and finely etched, Les Perrieres de Lafleur 2024 glides on redcurrant and cassis, lifted by violets, citrus peel and a gentle herbal snap, all wrapped in taut, chalky tannins. Medium-bodied but persistent, it feels precise and vertical rather than plush, with a saline limestone edge that tightens the finish and promises rewarding development in bottle.
Roast duck with orange and thyme; grilled lamb chops with rosemary; seared tuna with lentils and herbs.

Les Perrières de Lafleur is a distinct cuvée from the Guinaudeau family of Château Lafleur—born from massale selections of Lafleur’s own vines planted on the shallow, fossil-rich limestone plateau near Fronsac. Typically an almost equal Merlot–Bouchet (Cabernet Franc) blend, it shows chalky minerality, precise, fine tannins and floral-blueberry notes that speak more of limestone terroir than Pomerol richness; first released after experimental ‘Acte’ vintages and vinified with the same meticulous standards as Lafleur.
