Intensity defines the 2022 Chateau Lafleur Les Perrieres de Lafleur, a dark-fruited, deeply structured wine where ripe black berries and blue fruits glide over graphite, wet stone and a subtle saline edge. The 50/50 Merlot–Cabernet Franc blend feels both powerful and finely etched, with supple yet firm tannins and a long, focused finish that remains vibrant and refined.
Dry-aged ribeye with rosemary; Duck breast with black cherry jus; Lentil and mushroom stew with thyme

Les Perrières de Lafleur is a distinct cuvée from the Guinaudeau family of Château Lafleur—born from massale selections of Lafleur’s own vines planted on the shallow, fossil-rich limestone plateau near Fronsac. Typically an almost equal Merlot–Bouchet (Cabernet Franc) blend, it shows chalky minerality, precise, fine tannins and floral-blueberry notes that speak more of limestone terroir than Pomerol richness; first released after experimental ‘Acte’ vintages and vinified with the same meticulous standards as Lafleur.
