Bright tension runs through the 2023 Antinori Castello della Sala Bramito Chardonnay, layering ripe orchard and subtle tropical fruit with notes of toasted spice, almonds and a salty, stony edge. The palate is silky yet vibrant, driven by zesty citrus and herbs, finishing long, mouthwatering and beautifully poised between richness and freshness.
Grilled sea bass with lemon and herbs; Roast chicken with thyme and garlic; Risotto with spring vegetables and Parmesan

Bramìto della Sala is Antinori’s single‑varietal Chardonnay from the vineyards around the medieval Castello della Sala in Umbria, planted on calcareous, fossil‑rich soils with clay veins at 220–470 m elevation. Typically fermented partly in stainless steel and partly in oak (some lots undergo malolactic), it shows bright straw colour and a fragrant profile of white flowers, chamomile and Golden Delicious apple with toasted‑hazelnut/vanilla notes, a minerally backbone and lively acidity that give it freshness, texture and a long, savory finish.
