About Crozes Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert

Crozes-Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert by Paul Jaboulet Aîné is a benchmark Northern Rhône Syrah from the appellation’s oldest vineyard, first acquired by the estate in 1834 and now farmed organically/biodynamically. Sourced from very old, low-yielding vines rooted in stony, glacially-derived terraces whose rounded pebbles store and radiate heat, it typically produces a concentrated yet elegant red marked by dark berry fruit, peppery spice, and supple but ageworthy tannins that can develop gracefully for decades.
