A ripe yet classically framed Sangiovese, this Chianti Classico Riserva opens with dark cherry and blackberry layered over tobacco, leather and a touch of warm earth and balsamic herbs. The palate is full and concentrated but not overdone, with tarry spice and sandalwood complexity wrapped in firm, slightly drying tannins that give a serious, savoury close.
