Chateau Quintus 2018 Vintage Overview

2018 OVERVIEW

Château Quintus 2018 draws you in with deep plum and black cherry fruit layered over violet, spice and a touch of earth, showing both power and poise. The palate is concentrated yet sleek, with velvety, fine-grained tannins, bright mineral lift and long, fragrant length that balances richness with real freshness. A notably precise, polished Saint-Émilion that captures both the ripeness and the elegance of the vintage.

About Chateau Quintus

Château Quintus is the grand vin of Domaine Clarence Dillon’s Saint-Émilion estate, a Merlot- and Cabernet Franc–based Bordeaux red grown on a high limestone promontory with a patchwork of slopes and microclimates that lend both richness and freshness. Crafted as a modern Right Bank “fifth child” in the Clarence Dillon family, it typically offers deep, ripe black-fruit character wrapped in supple tannins and an undercurrent of chalky, limestone-driven minerality that reflects its commanding terroir above the Dordogne valley.
