Chateau Grand Village 2020 Vintage Overview

2020 OVERVIEW

Dark-toned fruit and subtle smoke drive this structured 2020, with layers of black cherry, blueberry and plum wrapped in cocoa, spice and a gentle herbal lift. Chateau Grand Village 2020 feels compact and precise on the palate, its fine, powdery tannins and bright acidity giving tension and length while keeping its power firmly in check.

About Chateau Grand Village

Château Grand Village is the Guinaudeau family’s right‑bank Bordeaux project (the family behind Pomerol’s Château Lafleur) producing elegant, terroir‑driven Bordeaux Supérieur reds and a distinctive white from Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon on shallow clay‑over‑limestone soils. Made with hand‑harvested fruit, careful sorting and oak ageing (a portion in new French barrels), the red typically shows plush Merlot/Cabernet‑Franc fruit, mineral lift and refined tannins—a classically styled, high‑value expression of Fronsac/Mouillac terroir.
