About John Riddoch Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

John Riddoch Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is Wynns Coonawarra Estate’s flagship red, a tiny-production Cabernet drawn from the finest parcels of the estate’s old-vine plantings on Coonawarra’s famed terra rossa soils. First released in 1982 and made only in outstanding vintages from less than one percent of the best Cabernet fruit, it is a benchmark Australian Cabernet: medium-bodied yet powerful, with pure blackcurrant and dark cherry fruit, regional notes of mint, earth and cedar, and the fine tannin structure to age gracefully for decades.
