Chablis La Forest Premier Cru 2015 Vintage Overview

2015 OVERVIEW

Tightly coiled at first, Vincent Dauvissat’s 2015 Chablis La Forest Premier Cru releases a vivid core of lemon zest, quince and stone, wrapped in a salty, chalky spine that gives great drive and precision. The palate is concentrated yet racy, with a waxy, layered texture and a long, energetic finish that promises even greater complexity with time in bottle.

About Chablis La Forest Premier Cru

Chablis La Forest Premier Cru by Vincent Dauvissat is a benchmark, ageworthy Chardonnay from one of Chablis’ most revered traditionalists, sourced from deep Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils in the south-facing La Forest vineyard. Typically vinified with indigenous yeasts and aged in older oak to highlight terroir over wood, it is known for combining concentrated citrus and orchard fruit with powerful saline, oyster-shell minerality and a taut, structured palate that can evolve beautifully in bottle for a decade or more.
