2021 OVERVIEW

Thibaud Boudignon’s 2021 Anjou Blanc crackles with energy, delivering focused flavors of lemon oil, crunchy pear and subtle spice over a sleek, satiny texture. A fine line of bright acidity drives the wine, with a light nutty and saline twist on the long, precise finish that reflects the freshness of this cooler vintage.

About Anjou Blanc

Thibaud Boudignon’s Anjou Blanc is a dry, terroir-driven Chenin Blanc from Anjou (Savennières area), typically sourced from high‑density, 30–40‑year‑old vines on shallow grey schist and rhyolite (volcanic) soils. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, bottled without malo and matured in large neutral and used barrels, it shows a taut, mineral‑saline core around lemon, pear and stone‑fruit notes with discreet spice and finely textured tannin—an elegant, restrained style that reflects Boudignon’s biodynamic, precision approach.
