Energy runs through Seña 2023, with vivid redcurrant and blackberry layered over paprika-like spice, tobacco leaf, and a gentle floral lift, all wrapped in polished but relaxed tannins. The warmer vintage shows in the generous, dark-fruited core, yet the wine stays nimble and savoury, finishing long, refined and mouthwatering. This is a particularly graceful, already-charming Seña that still has the stuffing for long aging.
Dry-aged ribeye with chimichurri; Roast lamb with herbed potatoes; Mushroom and truffle risotto

Seña is Chile’s first modern “icon” wine, a Cabernet Sauvignon–based Bordeaux-style blend with a distinctly Chilean soul from its Carmenère, grown biodynamically on volcanic, gravelly slopes in the Aconcagua Valley about 40 km from the Pacific Ocean. Created in 1995 as a joint venture between Eduardo Chadwick of Viña Errázuriz and Robert Mondavi, it is crafted to express both ripe Andean fruit and coastal freshness, producing complex, ageworthy reds that regularly earn top international critical acclaim.
