Seña was founded in 1995 in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley as a joint venture between Eduardo Chadwick of Viña Errázuriz and Napa pioneer Robert Mondavi, conceived explicitly to create a Chilean “Grand Vin” capable of standing alongside Bordeaux First Growths and top Super Tuscans. Since 2005 it has been wholly owned by the Chadwick family and has become one of Chile’s reference-point icon wines, often featuring in high-profile blind tastings and earning multiple perfect scores from leading critics.
