Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Vintage Overview

2019 OVERVIEW

Concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry plunge from the glass of the 2019 Lokoya Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, layered with dark chocolate, graphite, and a cool, stony lift. On the palate it’s powerful yet controlled, with vibrant acidity threading through dense, inky fruit and firmly structured, fine-grained tannins that promise long evolution. The finish is long, refined, and mineral-tinged, showing the precision and seriousness that make this one of the standout mountain Cabernets of the vintage.

About Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

Lokoya’s Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is a single-varietal, mountain-grown Cabernet from the Diamond Mountain District in Napa Valley, blended from select high‑elevation blocks (notably Rhyolite Ridge, Wallis and Andrew Geoffrey vineyards) planted on volcanic, well‑drained soils. The wine is built for structure and longevity—dense, dark‑fruit core (blackberry, cassis) framed by mineral/volcanic ash, savory herb and cocoa/anise notes, ripe tannins and classic mountain concentration that rewards cellaring.
