Barolo Tre Tine 2021 Vintage Overview

2021 OVERVIEW

Energy defines the 2021 Giuseppe Rinaldi Barolo Tre Tine, with luminous red cherry and wild strawberry layered over orange peel, mint, spice and a saline, stony edge. The palate is tense yet refined, its finely woven tannins and vivid acidity giving a racy, vertical feel that points to long development while remaining notably more approachable than many vintages of this wine. A Barolo of clarity and drive rather than sheer weight, it promises increasing depth and nuance with time in the cellar.

About Barolo Tre Tine

Barolo Tre Tine is Giuseppe Rinaldi’s archetypal traditional Barolo, a pure Nebbiolo blend of three historic crus—principally Ravera, with Cannubi San Lorenzo and Le Coste—that marries La Morra’s perfume to Monforte’s structure. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete and given very long macerations before extended aging in large botti, it delivers lifted, red‑toned fruit, roses, citrus zest and subtle spice over firm yet refined tannins, offering a soulful, ageworthy expression of classic Barolo terroir.
