Giuseppe Quintarelli’s Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is the estate’s crowning wine, a monumental Amarone from Negrar in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, made only in top vintages from Corvina and Corvinone with Rondinella and small amounts of other local and Bordeaux varieties. Grapes are painstakingly selected and dried for months before a very long fermentation and around seven years’ aging in large Slavonian oak, yielding a profoundly complex, full-bodied yet finely balanced wine that marries rich dried fruit and spice with lifted f…
