Depth and perfume define Giacomo Fenocchio’s 2020 Barolo Bussia, with layered aromas of warm red and black berries, orange peel, dried rose and hints of tar, spice and leather. The palate is supple yet authoritative, with velvety, finely etched tannins and vibrant acidity carrying concentrated fruit and savory herb tones into a long, focused finish that shows why this vintage is so highly regarded.

Giacomo Fenocchio’s Barolo Bussia is a single‑cru Barolo from the famed Bussia slopes of Monforte d’Alba—100% Nebbiolo from roughly 5 hectares of ~30–35‑year‑old vines on calcareous‑clay, iron‑rich soils at about 300 m. Made in a traditional style with very long maceration and spontaneous fermentation, then aged in large Slavonian oak casks, it shows deep garnet color, aromatic notes of rose, violet, licorice and red/black cherry, and a powerful, structured palate of firm, fine tannins and long aging potential.
