About Barolo Bussia

Giacomo Fenocchio’s Barolo Bussia is a single‑cru Barolo from the famed Bussia slopes of Monforte d’Alba—100% Nebbiolo from roughly 5 hectares of ~30–35‑year‑old vines on calcareous‑clay, iron‑rich soils at about 300 m. Made in a traditional style with very long maceration and spontaneous fermentation, then aged in large Slavonian oak casks, it shows deep garnet color, aromatic notes of rose, violet, licorice and red/black cherry, and a powerful, structured palate of firm, fine tannins and long aging potential.
