Created in 1987 by owner Elisabetta Geppetti with legendary enologist Giacomo Tachis and dedicated to her mentor Fredi, it is known for its dense structure, dark fruit and Mediterranean herb complexity, and for helping define Maremma as a fine-wine terroir on par with the great Tuscan coastal reds.
