About Ambonnay Coteaux Champenois Cuvee des Grands Cotes

Egly-Ouriet’s Ambonnay Coteaux Champenois “Cuvée des Grands Côtes” is a rare, still red from a single Grand Cru Ambonnay site—100% Pinot Noir from old, south-facing vines that sit on clay over chalk. Vinified and barrel-aged (partial new oak) with low yields and minimal intervention, it shows vivid red‑fruit and floral aromatics, fine silky tannins, saline chalky minerality and a spicy, long finish that often invites comparisons to elegant burgundian Pinot Noir while retaining unmistakable Champenoise terroir.
