About Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers Premier Cru

Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers Premier Cru from Domaine Robert Groffier Père & Fils is a concentrated yet finely etched Pinot Noir from 80-year-old vines on iron-rich clay-limestone soils just beneath Bonnes-Mares, at the northern edge of Chambolle-Musigny. Typically denser and more structured than many Chambolle Premiers Crus, it marries dark cherry and berry fruit with a distinctly saline, mineral thread and firm, fine-grained tannins that reward cellaring.
