About Chateauneuf-du-Pape Mon Aieul

Mon Aïeul is Domaine Pierre Usseglio’s flagship Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape cuvée — a single‑varietal, 100% Grenache drawn from old‑vine parcels (La Crau, Les Serres, La Guigasse) that’s vinified largely whole‑cluster and matured in neutral demi‑muids and concrete. It’s a perfumed, Provençal expression of Grenache: silky, vividly fruit‑driven (red and black cherry, raspberry) with kirsch‑like lift, garrigue spice and a long, saline, mineral finish, reflecting the estate’s sandy, galets and calcareous terroirs.
