Bourgogne Blanc 2021 Vintage Overview

2021 OVERVIEW

Energy runs through this 2021 Bourgogne Blanc from Domaine Leflaive, with crisp green apple, pear and lemon zest layered over gentle pastry and nut tones from its careful élevage. The palate feels both generous and finely cut, leaving a long, mouthwatering finish that shows more class and depth than you’d expect at this level.

About Bourgogne Blanc

Domaine Leflaive’s Bourgogne Blanc is a Chardonnay-based white Burgundy sourced mainly from biodynamically farmed, limestone-clay parcels around Puligny-Montrachet, notably Les Houlières and Les Parties. Though labeled simply as Bourgogne Blanc, it is vinified and aged much like the estate’s village wines, often offering a Puligny-like tension and minerality wrapped in ripe citrus and orchard fruit, making it one of the benchmark “entry-level” whites of the Côte de Beaune.
