About Savigny-les-Beaune Les Lavieres Premier Cru

Domaine Chandon de Briailles’ Savigny‑lès‑Beaune 1er Cru “Les Lavières” is a 100% Pinot Noir from a compact, south‑facing parcel planted on thin, stony soils (limestone slabs, sand and marl) whose old vines and biodynamic farming give a terroir‑driven wine. Vinified with indigenous yeasts and frequent whole‑cluster work and matured with little new oak, it shows a poised profile of bright red berries, violet and savory/earthy mineral notes with fine tannins and lively acidity—elegant, slightly muscular and built for medium‑term aging.
