About Poetry Cabernet Sauvignon

Poetry is Cliff Lede’s flagship Cabernet Sauvignon from a steep, rocky hillside block in the Stags Leap District, built for concentration and age. Typically a Cabernet-led blend with small amounts of Merlot, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot, it shows dense dark-fruit, floral and spice perfume, firm layered tannins from low-yield, volcanic soils, and extended élevage in mostly new French oak that gives it richness, structure and long-term cellaring potential.
