Chateau Leoville Poyferre 2022 Vintage Overview

2022 OVERVIEW

On the opulent side of Saint-Julien, Château Léoville Poyferré 2022 delivers a deep core of crème de cassis, ripe blackberry and black cherry layered with dark chocolate, graphite, and a touch of wild herbs and flowers. The palate is plush yet remarkably buoyant, with satin-smooth but powerful tannins, vibrant acidity, and very well-absorbed new oak that lets the purity of fruit and a long, resonant finish take center stage. A particularly hedonistic yet controlled vintage here, built for both early allure and long, graceful aging.
