2015 OVERVIEW

Chateau LaTour-Martillac 2015 shows concentrated blackcurrant and dark cherry fruit wrapped in firm yet refined tannins, with layers of spice, cedar and a touch of earth adding depth to its muscular structure. About Chateau LaTour-Martillac

Château LaTour-Martillac is the grand vin of this historic Pessac-Léognan Cru Classé estate, typically a Cabernet Sauvignon–led Bordeaux blend (with Merlot and Petit Verdot) grown on deep Pyrenean gravel slopes above Martillac that give the wine its structure, minerality, and aging potential. Known for its balance of dark fruit, floral and spice notes with refined oak, it is one of the rare Graves properties classified for both red and white wines, and represents a benchmark style of elegant, ageworthy left-bank Bordeaux.
