Chateau Larcis-Ducasse 2022 Vintage Overview

2022 OVERVIEW

From the first sip, Chateau Larcis-Ducasse 2022 comes across as a deeply sculpted Saint-Émilion, packed with black cherry and plum fruit wrapped in notes of tobacco leaf, cocoa and warm spice. The limestone plateau shows in the cool, stony backbone and beautifully shaped, chalk-dusted tannins, giving a vertical, powerful frame that remains poised and vibrant rather than heavy. This is a concentrated, modern classic that will gain in complexity as its dense core gradually relaxes in bottle.

The wine is known for uniting ripe, opulent dark fruit and truffle-tinged richness with a marked limestone-driven freshness and salinity, giving it both power and finesse and excellent capacity to age.
