Chateau Cheval Blanc 2009 Vintage Overview

2009 OVERVIEW

From the first swirl, 2009 Chateau Cheval Blanc shimmers with luxurious blackcurrant and plum fruit layered over rose petals, fine tobacco and sweet spice. On the palate it is both deep and weightless, with silken tannins, remarkable freshness and an almost creamy richness that carries through to a long, perfumed finish of dark berries, licorice and a cool hint of mint. A benchmark Right Bank wine in a great vintage, it combines sheer power with rare finesse.
