Bruno Giacosa’s 2021 Barolo Falletto is a finely etched, vertical expression of Nebbiolo, with pure red and black cherry layered by savory herbs, spice and cool mineral tones. The palate is taut yet silken, driven by vibrant acidity and polished tannins that build in measured intensity, carrying floral notes and a long, precise finish. This vintage stands out for its combination of clarity, energy and noble structure, promising superb evolution in bottle.

Barolo Falletto by Bruno Giacosa is a benchmark single-vineyard Barolo from the Falletto cru in Serralunga d’Alba, a southwest-facing amphitheater of calcareous clay that yields particularly elegant yet long-lived Nebbiolo. Typically aged for around 30–32 months in large French oak botti, it marries power and structure with fine, suave tannins and complex aromas of red fruits, rose and spice, expressing both Giacosa’s restrained, traditional style and the depth of this historic monopole terroir.
