Silky yet tightly woven, Bruno Giacosa’s 2020 Barolo Falletto glows with pure red fruit—wild strawberry and sweet cherry—layered with dried rose, subtle spice and a cool, stony undertone. The palate is precise and vertical, its fine but assertive tannins giving structure to the juicy, crystalline core, finishing long, savory and already remarkably inviting for such a serious, cellar-worthy Barolo.
Tajarin with white truffle; Veal braised in Nebbiolo; Porcini and Parmigiano risotto

Barolo Falletto by Bruno Giacosa is a benchmark single-vineyard Barolo from the Falletto cru in Serralunga d’Alba, a southwest-facing amphitheater of calcareous clay that yields particularly elegant yet long-lived Nebbiolo. Typically aged for around 30–32 months in large French oak botti, it marries power and structure with fine, suave tannins and complex aromas of red fruits, rose and spice, expressing both Giacosa’s restrained, traditional style and the depth of this historic monopole terroir.
