Supple and quietly powerful, Bodegas Muga’s Prado Enea Gran Reserva 2010 glides across the palate with sour cherry, plum and black cherry layered over vanilla, clove, tobacco leaf and a touch of dried flower. The texture is astonishingly silky yet vibrant, with very fine tannins and perfectly judged acidity giving a long, graceful, classically Rioja finish that shows why this vintage is so highly regarded.
