Colore 2022 Vintage Overview

2022 OVERVIEW

With its lifted florals and vivid red and black cherry fruit, Bibi Graetz Colore 2022 shows a refined, transparent side of old-vine Sangiovese, framed by blood orange brightness, subtle spice, and a graphite-like, stony edge. The palate is silky yet tightly woven, with fine, persistent tannins and a chewy, savoury finish that promises impressive complexity as it evolves.

About Colore

Colore is the flagship, micro‑selection Sangiovese of Bibi Graetz, a Tuscan “Supertuscan” IGT crafted from very old, high‑altitude vines rooted in poor, sandy, stony soils around Lamole, Vincigliata, Olmo and Siena. Traditionally fermented in open barriques and aged around 20 months, it’s known for its depth, energy and layered red‑berry, floral and mineral character, and has become one of Italy’s most sought‑after modern cult wines.
