Colore 2015 Vintage Overview

2015 OVERVIEW

Intensity in Bibi Graetz Colore 2015 comes through in pure, ripe cherry and blackberry layered with savory spice, grilled herbs and a subtle stony edge. The palate is medium-bodied yet deep, with very fine, tightly woven tannins and a remarkably long, precise finish that shows both energy and polish. Already compelling, it clearly has the structure to develop further complexity in bottle.

About Colore

Colore is the flagship, micro‑selection Sangiovese of Bibi Graetz, a Tuscan “Supertuscan” IGT crafted from very old, high‑altitude vines rooted in poor, sandy, stony soils around Lamole, Vincigliata, Olmo and Siena. Traditionally fermented in open barriques and aged around 20 months, it’s known for its depth, energy and layered red‑berry, floral and mineral character, and has become one of Italy’s most sought‑after modern cult wines.
