Terroir Al Limit Historic Rouge 2021 shows a cooler, more restrained side of Priorat, with bright red berries, blood orange and a twist of licorice over a subtle stony, peppery backbone. Medium-bodied and notably fresh, it glides on silky, fine-grained tannins, feeling pure, clean and energetic rather than heavy, finishing with juicy, mouthwatering red fruit. This vintage is especially drinkable now, but has just enough structure and tension to reward a few years of cellaring.
