La Estrada 2020 shows a vivid core of red and blue fruits laced with crushed pepper, dried flowers and stony, hillside brightness, all framed by serious, tightly knit tannins. There’s a sense of depth and ripeness without heaviness, the old-vine Tempranillo (with a touch of Garnacha and Graciano) giving earthy structure that currently dominates but promises beautiful complexity with time.
