About Barbaresco Fausoni

Sottimano’s Barbaresco Fausoni is a single‑cru Nebbiolo from the small, calcareous Fausoni site in Neive that marries Barbaresco elegance with concentrated depth: fine, persistent tannins frame aromas of wild berries, dried flowers, balsamic and menthol notes and a cool mineral backbone. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in large oak (with a proportion of barriques in some vintages), it’s built for patience yet often shows early grace and savory complexity that pairs well with rich, earthy Piedmont dishes.
