About Brunello di Montalcino Vecchie Vigne

Siro Pacenti’s Brunello di Montalcino “Vecchie Vigne” is a modern, powerfully concentrated Sangiovese drawn from the estate’s oldest vines (often from Pelagrilli/Piancornello), matured heavily in French oak (commonly ~24 months) and built for long aging. It shows dense black- and red-fruit core layered with rose, tobacco, baking spice and smoky/cedary oak, framed by high alcohol, firm, fine-grained tannins and a long, silky finish—a bold, ageworthy expression of Montalcino with a distinctly modernist polish.
