Intensity is the calling card of the 2018 Sine Qua Non Ziehharmonika Syrah, with a deep core of black and blue fruits layered over dark chocolate, peppery spice, and a faint echo of smoky meat and wild herbs. The palate is plush yet rigorously structured, packed with saturated fruit, lifted by vibrant acidity and wrapped in finely polished tannins that give the wine both grandeur and precision. This is a powerful, tightly coiled Syrah that already dazzles but clearly has the stuffing for a very long life in bottle.
