About Next of Kyn

Next of Kyn is the Krankls’ boutique sister project to Sine Qua Non, made from fruit exclusively (originally) from their Cumulus single-vineyard in the Central Coast/Oakview area and bottled as small-production Rhône-style red blends. The wines—typically Syrah- and Grenache-led with components like Petite Sirah, Mourvèdre and occasional Portuguese varieties—show intense, perfumed fruit, layered spice and fine tannins from extended élevage in new French oak, and are released in very limited quantities for collectors.
