Ramey’s 2015 Pedregal Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is built on concentration and poise, layering dark currant and red cherry fruit with notes of cocoa, baking spice and forest earth. The co-fermented Petit Verdot adds color and grip, giving a firm, fine-grained structure that carries the fruit and spice through a long, resonant finish. This vintage is serious and ageworthy, with its power currently shaped more by structure than opulence.
