Pym-Rae Tesseron Estate 2017 shows concentrated black cherry and plum layered with dark chocolate, warm spice and a distinct crushed-stone edge. The palate is full and powerful yet impressively poised, with firm, fine-grained tannins and a long, fragrant finish that hints at both ripe fruit and savory earth. A more fruit-forward, Cabernet Sauvignon–Merlot expression in this vintage, it already thrills with a decant but promises even greater complexity in time.
