Vintage Brut 2013 Vintage Overview

2013 OVERVIEW

Bright attack gives Pol Roger Vintage Brut 2013 a racy, classical feel, layering lemon zest and crunchy green apple over a core of chalky tension, while subtle pastry and brioche notes hint at its emerging maturity. The mousse is fine and energetic rather than plush, giving the wine an almost architectural precision that distinguishes it from the richer 2012 and makes this vintage feel particularly straight‑lined and refined.

About Vintage Brut

Pol Roger’s Vintage Brut is a classically styled Champagne cuvée, traditionally blended from about 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay sourced from around 20 Grand and Premier Cru vineyards on the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. Produced only in selected years and in limited quantities, it is long-aged deep in Pol Roger’s cool Épernay cellars and hand‑riddled, yielding a refined, vinous wine that marries ripe orchard-fruit richness with elegant brioche, floral notes, and a taut, chalky freshness reflecting its noble terroirs.
