About Hermitage La Chapelle

Hermitage La Chapelle by Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of the Rhône Valley’s benchmark Syrah-based reds, a legendary Hermitage blending old-vine parcels primarily from the granite of Les Bessards and the limestone of Le Méal on the Hermitage hill. Named after the tiny chapel that crowns the slope, it is a biodynamically farmed, low-yield wine famed for its depth, smoky-meaty and cassis-driven complexity, firm tannic structure, and extraordinary capacity to age for decades.
