About Block M Pinot Noir

Melville’s Block M Pinot Noir is a small-production, block-designated wine from a wind‑swept, sun‑exposed mesa on the Melville estate in Sta. Rita Hills; planted mainly to Dijon clones 114 and 115, it delivers tiny, thick‑skinned berries and concentrated, dark‑fruited flavors. Typically fermented with high whole‑cluster inclusion and matured in neutral oak, Block M shows brooding notes of black cherry/plum, savory underbrush, spice and blood‑orange lift, with firm tannins, bright acidity and the structure to age.
