About Anna's Block Pinot Noir

Anna’s Block Pinot Noir is Melville’s single‑block, cool‑climate expression from their Sta. Rita Hills west‑side vineyard—planted on well‑drained sandy loam and worked with Dijon clones (notably 667 and 114) to yield small, intensely flavoured berries. The wine is usually perfumed and concentrated yet lithe, showing red and dark berry flavors with floral, savory (mushroom/forest floor) and spice notes and bright acidity that make it both elegant and food‑friendly.
